THE PERSON BEHIND ESS
ESS was born somewhere between History and Fashion.
Hi, I'm Stuti, founder of ESS.
Before studying fashion at NIFT Delhi, I spent three years studying History. Looking back, those two worlds had more in common than I realised. History taught me to research, ask questions and look for meaning beneath the surface. It taught me that the objects people treasure are rarely just objects — they can carry stories, memories, symbols and identity. Fashion taught me how to turn those ideas into something tangible. I eventually joined NIFT Delhi, where I spent four years studying fashion with a specialisation in Leather Design.
History taught me how to seek meaning. Fashion taught me how to give that meaning a form.
That intersection became the foundation of ESS.
WHY ESS EXISTS
One question kept coming back.
If accessories say so much about personality, why do so many of them feel interchangeable?TextAs I entered the world of accessories, I saw beautiful products everywhere, but much of the market felt either trend-driven and forgettable or disconnected from personal meaning. And I kept thinking about women like me.
Ambitious and creative.
Structured and romantic.
Soft and powerful.
Women who are never just one thing. I didn't want to create another generic accessories brand. I wanted to create pieces that felt like personal symbols — things that could reflect who you are, what you value, and who you are becoming.
WHAT ESS BELIEVES
You don't have to choose one version of yourself.
We create for women who see style as an extension of their identity — women who want their accessories to feel personal rather than predictable. We aren't interested in logos, status symbols, or creating products simply because a trend says they should exist.
We're interested in individuality, craftsmanship and meaningful design. Because we believe individuality ages better than trends. And
the best style decisions are often the ones that make sense only to you.

WHAT WE'RE TRYING TO CREATE

We want to create pieces that feel discovered rather than advertised.Accessories with enough personality to make someone notice the detail.
